11.14.Fisheries and Marine Education Research Institute under the Fisheries Sciences Institute Establishment.

08.23.Aquatic Animals Disease Institute and Polar Resource Research Institute under the Institute of Fisheries Sciences Establishment.

09.03.Ocean research vessel "Nara-Ho" launched.

03.01.The Global Fisheries Graduate School was established.

07.31.The building of Institute of Fisheries Sciences was newly completed.
(Dongbaek-ri, Ilgwang-myeon, Gijang-gun, Busan)
02.11.The building of Institute of the Control Center for Aquatic Animal Diseases was completed.

09.24.The building of Institute of Fisheries Sciences was demolished.
(Dongbaek Island, Haeundae-gu, Busan)
03.01.Ph.D. program of the graduate of marine biotechnology was established.

02.28.The Fisheries Sciences Technology Center was established in Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.

1991

10.22. The College of Fisheries and Marine was reorganized into the College of Fisheries Sciences and the College of Environmental and Marine Sciences and Technology.
10.22. Department of Marine Production Management (an entrance quota of 30) was established (the present Department of Marine Production System Management)

1990

03.01.The school was elevated to the National Fisheries University of Busan and reorganized as four colleges (College of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, College of Natural Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Humanities and Social Sciences) and the courses of Liberal Arts.

1987

11.09.The graduate school of industry was established opening master programs in 5 departments
including Department of Fishery Production, Department of Aquaculture, Department of Fishery Process, Department of maritime development and Department of Industrial Management.
10.23.Department of Aquatic Pathology (the present Department of Aquatic Life Medicine) was established.

1985

11.05.Department of Biotechnology and Bioengineering was established.

03.01.Department of Fisheries Education was established.

01.01.Fish farm was completed.

06.01.Graduate Ph.D. program was established.

10.01.The graduate master program was established.
(Fisheries Physics, Fisheries Chemistry, Fishery Biology, Fisheries Economics, and Fisheries Engineering)

08.30.Department of Fisheries Economics was established.
(the present Department of Marine & Fisheries Business and Economics)

1944

04.06.The school was elevated to National Fisheries College of Busan.

1941

04.06.The Government Fisheries Advanced School of Busan (4-year college) was accredited.
