The College of Fisheries Science has been studying and teaching techniques based on the academic theory of fisheries and fisheries industry. Recently, the research and education of college are expanding its area into a high-tech industrial area of maritime biology.

Professors and students in 4 division and 3 departments of the college are making their full effort into research and academic studies in order to develop the fisheries and marine industry in the future. As a historic university in the area of fisheries science, in which 2021 the college has the 80th years anniversary, alumni and professors are play a role as experts in not only fisheries science but also maritime industry, the seafood industry and related policy of oceans and fisheries.

The College of Fisheries Science will consistently try to educate talented human resources to conduct challenging research and to develop innovative techniques in order to make fisheries, ocean industry, and food industry as the basis of healthy life of future humanity.
